pick up a piece: suggest a project
Do you know of great work being done by a small project or charity overseas, helping children develop and learn? Would you like Trust in Children to help them reach more children, or provide more for the children they currently help?
Pick up a Piece is your opportunity to bring potential beneficiaries to Trust in Children. We make grants of approximately £1000 – £2000 to small organisations where our money can really make a difference. We’re keen to find out about communities we haven’t yet supported, where children are struggling to fulfil their potential because they can’t access education, must work to support their families or are denied the chances they deserve because of poverty or discrimination.
TiC trustees will consider every project suggested through Pick up a Piece, and try to fund as many as possible. We will appreciate all the information you can supply about your chosen project.
To suggest a beneficiary as part of Pick up a Piece, you need to be a member of TiC. Once you’re a member, you simply need to contact us with the details of the project or organisation you believe TiC should make a grant to.
Previous Pick up a Piece recommended projects include:
• Project Hope (Democratic Republic of Congo)
• Project Wawa (Philippines)
• Project Firefly (Bosnia)
