Trust in Children connects children to chances. We aim to help children from the poorest sectors of society make the most of who they are by helping them to access education and opportunities for non-academic development.

We give grants to small charities which are doing a great job in helping local children access education; where we see unfulfilled need and are able to help, we set up our own project. Our small size allows us to build long-term relationships with locally-focused charities which can be overlooked by larger donors. We pride ourselves on carefully researching and considering all grants applications before awarding funding.

TiC is a small charity with no paid staff; it is solely run by the hard work of its trustees. We are able to do our work thanks to the support of our members and donors. Our Pick up a Piece scheme encourages our members to get actively involved in the development of our future work.

“Education is priceless and a small donation to Trust in Children can make a huge difference to a child’s start in life. TiC’s projects are a reminder of the importance of education and Pick Up a Piece is a great way to find out what’s stopping children from going to school and doing something about it.”
