TiC trustees get planning

Today the Trust in Children board got together to reflect on a busy year and make plans for the coming year.

We’re pleased to have been able to continue supporting organisations including Caring for Congolese Children and Ripple Africa, who are working really hard to improve the lives of children in Congo and Malawi despite increasing costs. We made grants to new beneficiaries including the Cenon C. Perez Educational Programme in the Philippines and held our first ever pub quiz. We also gave an emphatic THANK YOU to our ex-chair Leo, who stepped down as a trustee recently after reinvigorating Trust in Children ten years ago. We’re lucky to have Leo staying on as a friend and advisor to the charity.

In the year ahead, the Trustees agreed to continue making small grants according to our values of optimism, compassion and working with others to empower children and their communities. We’re looking forward to focussing on our members, engaging them through our communications and events to make our little community of TiC supporters stronger and together to do even more for children around the world.
